Indian High Commission And Sri Lanka’s Eastern Province Tourism Bureau Organised Mega Yoga Event

The High Commission of India and Sri Lanka’s Eastern Province Tourism Bureau organised a mega yoga event at Trincomalee’s McHeyzer Stadium today. The event saw the participation of around 5,000 students and members of the society. The Governor of Eastern Province, Senthil Thondaman, thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making yoga popular worldwide. The event is part of the ten-day Yoga Mahotsav, which will end on June 22 in Colombo.
